About Ali Saleh
I see the whole problem.
Builder. Creator. Problem Solver.
For more than twenty years, I’ve worked where customer needs, business goals, technology, process, people and design meet.
The expanding question
I started with design. The work kept getting bigger.
A screen led to a journey. A journey led to the service behind it. The service led to the systems, policies and teams shaping the experience long before the interface appeared.
The titles changed because the questions grew. My job stayed remarkably consistent: understand what is really in the way, create a direction people can believe in, and make it work in the real world.

Connected practice
I don’t separate them.
- 01Customer
- 02Business
- 03Technology
- 04Process
- 05People
- 06Design
Customers never experience the organisation chart. They experience the combined result.
So I work across boundaries, joining customer evidence to business intent, technical reality, operational responsibility and the quality of the final design. That is where stronger answers live.
The way I work
From ambiguity to a standard people can build.
I don’t believe quality and efficiency have to compete.
- 01
Find the real problem.
Turn symptoms, assumptions and competing agendas into a problem clear enough to solve.
- 02
Set a direction people can use.
Translate strategy into principles, priorities and decisions that survive the meeting room.
- 03
Build the whole experience.
Connect journeys, products, services, brands and operations, not isolated screens.
- 04
Raise the capability around it.
Create the clarity, trust and standards that help good teams do consistently better work.
Leadership
The work matters. So do the people becoming capable of doing it.
I push for high standards because customers feel every compromise the organisation asks them to carry. But standards without trust create hesitation.
I give people context, room to decide and support when the work gets difficult. Some of my proudest outcomes are clearer teams, stronger judgment and people who became better because we worked together.
What I stand for
A few principles I refuse to dilute.
- 01
Make complexity ours, not the customer’s.
- 02
Make quality part of the system, not the final inspection.
- 03
Make decisions clear enough that capable people can move.
- 04
Never confuse more features with more value.
- 05
Stay curious long enough to find the real answer.
